The United Concerned Citizens Organization was founded in 2002. Henry Lee Bell Sr. started UCCO, with his dream of ensuring that everyone would be able to have a meal on Thanksgiving Day.
Henry Lee, admired the sacrifices Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. made to humanity. He aspired to give back to his community and to make a change as did Dr. King. He continued to keep his dream alive by hosting a march down Main St. in Lebanon, Kentucky as well as an Outreach at Centre Square on Thanksgiving day. Participants of the march in Lebanon, KY meet at the local post office on the Sunday before Dr. King's birthday memorial.
